This study uses MRI (fMRI) to measure brain activity.
Participants will lie inside the MRI scanner and complete a simple evaluation task while viewing illustrations displayed on a screen. The experiment will be conducted under careful safety management, and participants may stop the experiment at any time if they feel unwell.

Overview

We are currently recruiting participants for a research study on the perception and acceptance of robots. The study will take place at Kyoto University and will involve a simple MRI (fMRI) experiment and questionnaire survey.
Participants will view illustrations displayed on a monitor, evaluate them, and respond by pressing buttons.

Participation Requirements

・Must be from the United States or the United Kingdom
・Must have been living in Japan for less than 3 years
・Must be able to communicate in either Japanese or English
・Must not own a conversational robot
・Must be right-handed
・Must be eligible to participate in an MRI experiment

Please note that individuals with metal implants, claustrophobia, pregnancy, or certain medical conditions may not be eligible to participate.

・5 available time slots each day 　9:00 / 10:30 / 13:00 / 14:30 / 16:00
Schedules will be arranged on a first-come, first-served basis.
